Hi there, I'm an out of the loop design freelancer, I designed for 10 years in NYC, but moved to Philly and changed my life, leaving design behind for a while. I'm trying to ease my way back in, as I miss it; and have been asked to design a book/catalog. I was never involved in pricing, as I worked for firms before; and certainly haven't a clue now what kind of quote to give.
If anyone has any ideas or resources that I could look it up in, I'd soooo appreciate it!
Specs:
32ish page book, 4/4
All copy (main content) and images will be provided
Soft cover, closed dim's are 9x11
Printer outsourced by organization.
It's a non-profit org in NYC, but I was told
that they have a nice budget for the book,
as they are excited to make it 'hot'.
Plus they want design & revisions within
two weeks!

Any thoughts are suupper appreciated!

Welcome Tin! Sounds like a nice project to sink your teeth in and get back into it with. By the end of that project you will feel as though you never left! ;)

Do a search on this forum, there have been several recent discussions that are similar in content. Good luck with your catalog.
