How is the background texture done?

the graphic is from one of the 27-7's flashsites. Could someone tell me how the background texture ist done. It looks very simple to achieve, but I don't know how to do it.

I'm a Newbie to Photshop. Could you explain me where to find it in the program?
How do I achieve this texture with "noise"? Sorry for the stupid questions:(

or you could just turn the stereo up really loud, either way tends to work!

Would be a possiblitiy, but I've got enough noise in my Filmscoring Studio:)
