I like it too...even though I have no idea what the product is. The colors are fantastic, and I like the vector elements overlaying the photograph. It reminds me of a designer named Mike Young. Ever heard of him?

No I havent..but I'll check him out.
The reason for this particular piece was to try and get my photoshop skills a little better
AND for a friend. I took photographs of her like 2 weeks ago (I'm not a photographer either). Heres a link for more of her pics in the photography thread http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9952

thx for the feedback :)

That whole shoulder-neck area is a totally underrated eroginous zone.

Girls shoulders - neckline are waaay hot.
Everyone always notices cleavage or a bit o' pantie peaking out from a girls tight but, but I think that whole clavicle zone is super hot. God bless those off the shoulder sweaters that appear to be in these days.

I tried googling Mark Youngs name, but it turns out he's a product designer. Is that right, or did I come across the wrong one?

Maybe because the thread mentioned Mike Young, and not MARK Young?

It is a nice illustration/photo, and I realize this is for practice, but all I see is these vector/photo collages these days, and It is starting to get played out, IMHO.

trendy shmendy, i think it's rad. It looks like it could be used for a lot of different things... maybe a direct mail piece for Hollister, or a fun postcard, a desktop wall paper, web page background...

good job

I'm not saying that it is bad at all, just very trendy right now. It looks really nice, I too love vector/photo illustrations. It is just a style that is getting played out, that is all I was saying.
