g'day
im just about to finish my diploma in graphic design, im makeing a promotional vehicle to get my name out a bit. im making a callender (i know its standard but im real skeptical of the usefullness of a gimicy item) anyway i will be making this in a real small number max 20 i suppose, my idea is a little desk calender similar to the shape of this (with the paper doing to the edges)

i want to have a piece of my work on the page with a transparent white stock ontop so u can sort of make out wats under but not completly, then i want each day (that would be little ajoining shapes) to have a perf around it so u tear it out everyday revealing more of the image, as im not making a huge amount ill be making them at home by hand, so i would like any suggestions on how to make a perf at home, maybe some tool or some method anyone knows, my goal is real small circles making the perf lines

thanks heaps in advance

you can buy perforation cutters, they're like a knife with a wheel on the end. i've got one that's a slider attached to a ruler. do a search for rotary cutters in your local sewing or arts and crafts stores

if you sliced up your grid then masked off the back of the perforated area and covered it in perma fix or some other spray mount, took off the mask, you could then attach it to the backing and have peel off squares
