Hey, I need some sites that have reviews on some of the lower-end professional digital cameras. I'm looking into getting a new camera for product photography and want the best color possible (speed not really an issue). I'm looking to keep it under $1000 (kinda cheap for professional stuff, I know), but any help or advice will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

stevesdigicams.com is awesome. It has hundreds of cameras, each with a 360 rotatable quicktime so you can really check it out. You can compare side by side too. I found my Minolta there last year. He puts a lot of work into his site.

We use the Canon 10D here and it's been great. It should be around $1000 maybe a little less. I hear the Canon Digital Rebel is pretty good as well. It's definately below $1000.

I'm liking the Olympus C-7070 Wide Zoom Digital Camera.

My mom just got a Canon Digital Rebel XT and that thing is fantastic. I really like it for shooting stuff for school. It's 8mp.
If you want to go really low end, the Canon A95s are very nice. You can snap on external lenses, and it has a lot of features that are really handy. Only goes up to 180ppi, which is a pooper.

if your going to shoot pro-am stuff, you should consider the lenses and filters, I dont know if this particular camera will let you shoot with other lenses.
esp if its product shots. And stevesdigi.com is an awesome site, I reviewed my camera their before purchasing too.
