F13 = Usage

For crying out loud, I have been using Quark for at least a millenium and I never knew that the F13 key was the shortcut to Font and Picture Usage!

I have often wondered why one always had to use the menu bar!

Okay, save a another few years, where is the shortcut in InDesign to bring up Font Usage?

I made a keyboard shortcut in InDesign that brings up the find font window. Works about the same as Quark, only better.

There's an F13? I've only got up to F12 (PC).

While we're talking about it, is there a way to load the Expose function onto a PC? I hate digging through a pile of images in PS when I can just hit one of the F keys on a Mac and pick it out in a second.

sorry, yep I am on a Mac - F13 key is on my keyboard ( goes up to F16 )

Hey do you guys remember on the old quark...there was a combination of keys you could hit which would act as a "delete" command, but a little alien would walk out and zap your text or picture box?

I wish they still had that..

On the topic, are there any shortcut keys to access the different objects in the toolbar? I dug through the help menu without luck. There help menu is terrible, they need a help menu for there help menu.

Hey Magnus - it's still there and in quark 5 and newer they added another animation of a big fat alien. The combination is Command + Option + Shift + K
