I have a file that I created in AI 10 that incorporates a couple of gradient meshes and a few linear gradients. I am in the process of attempting to create a CD 10 file with it and i can't seem to get it to translate properly. Is this because CD 10 can't read AI 10 gradient meshes? is there anyway to bring it over there in a vector format or am i pooched?

Sorry bout that. Closest I could get was saving the AI file as an AI8 and opening that into CD using the PS interpreter. Came in as a group -- one a copy of the path that was empty, and one, a raster with the shape as the clipping path.

Close but no milkbone.

I have pretty much given up on my end as well, i tried saving it as every dfferent kind of version and file type i could think of but alas CD didn't like anything i gave to it.

Yah. It doesn't work the other way arouund either Corel->Illy

Rebuilt it in Corel. You can do Gradient meshes there too. That's all I can sugggest.
