Are you printing this at a real print shop or at home?

Keep in mind what your finished project will look like... if it is going to be folded or saddle stitched, you need to make sure your page count is a multiple of 4. If you are just going to staple it in the corner, or if it will be perfect bound (i.e., glued into a binding like a book) it can be multiples of two.

The answer to how to set up the pages depends on whether you are printing these yourself, or sending them to a print shop (like keith said).

If you ARE sending them to a print shop, it is always best to check with your printer's friendly prepress department to see how they want the files set up.

Also - odd numbers are always on the right side.

and opposing pages will add up to your total page count + 1.

presactly! There are even some presses that run in increments of 8 instead of 4, like the one we currently use at work. So, to be safe, because you never know - you should most definately call the printer you are working with to see how you should set your booklet up. IF you don' thave one yet, you should go ahead and get one and then proceed IMO :)

Hey, that's me! Warm and fuzzies all over!

Of course, if your book is in Wurd, the page numbers start with 1 on the left.
