Post your panoramic photos here. They must be a combination of at least two photos. Be sure to tell us how many photos you used to make the final image. I'll start.
It's a combination of four photos. I took it with my Olympus C-7070 Wide Zoom using the Panoramic function. Let me know what you think.

This is from holiday in Sri Lanka. It was taken on my old Fuji film SLR.

I took this shot for a local landscape gardener with my digital Cannon Ixus. We used in several adverts and also their stationery.

This is really cool! This was a great idea Mynock. If the weather breaks this weekend, I'll have to try to get some other series of pictures. It takes some work but it's fun to see the results.

Didn't have a tripod, so it could have been better.

Tyger did you use a star filter for that night shot?

Tyger

nope, it's just an effect i discovered by accident using a slow shutterspeed and stopping down.

fredrich

Mynock they were done a long time ago, but if I remember correctly the Sri Lankan one is from around 12 shots, the garden is around 10.

I have a copy of the sunrise on my wall, it is massive aound 8ft long.

Well I just set my SLR to a very slow shutter speed and took about 4 rolls of film. I couldn't take a tripod as it was a major hike up a very steep mountain, (took about 6 hours) but when we were at the top I managed to find a space (it was packed at the top with Sri Lankans visiting the Buddist Temple there, space was a serious premium) next to a wall that I used to steady the camera to eliminate camera shake.

Wow, that's a hell of a story. Very interesting, I wish I travelled more and not just within Minnesota.

Mynock, if I told you the story of how we got there, and getting down and back home to our hotel, you would think I was a relative of Pinnochio.
