My Favorite thing about GDF is that it keeps me motivated when i'm at work and makes me constantly want to improve my skills.....
Plus its fun to talk to people about graphic design and have them know what your talking about!

My favorite thing about the GDF is the good friendships I have gained since I have been here. I love all the graphic design help that I get on here and that I am able to help others but I have really gained some real friends on here and I like that.

I like that there's no pricks on here. I just joined another board around the same time as this one and the response to my first post was "Hey, you sound like you're SomeOtherGuy with a new acct. Looks like a perma ban is coming!".


My one concern was that everyone was too nice in their crits, too much "Mom" feedback. But that changed when whatshisname posted that supposedly freehand drawing in the showcase the other day. :)

The people on the GDF are basass! Especially the regulars...you know who you are.
MOST of the crits are honest and very constructive.
There are very few questions that go un-answered.
No one is afraid to voice his/her opinion while at the same time respecting the opinions of everyone else...except for the PC/Mac topic...those PC people suck and so do their computers.

I like everything about GDF. Since I'm a student, I love the fact that I can interact with non-student designers, it really helps a lot, b/c there are some things that they don't teach you in school. LIKE INDESIGN. HMPH!

Anyway, I have also gained good friends....speakign of....DZ when are you coming up here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok... seriuosly... what doeso ne do in the official boob sizing? Take me through this? does someone feel you up or something? Is it a dude or a girl (either way is going to make me rock hard)? do you try on a bunch of bras? DD - I'll be that way I am SURE in July for Kayla's B-day, August for Abby's and September for Nathaniel's so we WILL get to meet sometime over the summer!! I am also dying to go to a baseball game this summer!! I will let you know when I know exact dates! I like the fact that you people are pros. As a graphics teacher in a rural area I am called on to be the expert in all things graphic design. Also, working with high school students can be a creative drain. Don't get me wrong- I have great kids. Most are very talented. Some sadly, wont flex their creative muscles.
