wow, is that a stargazer lily? I love the color and perspective! You can see all the texture around the middle of the flower.

I believe that in fact it is a stargazer lilly... But really I know nothing about flowers, it was just sitting in a friends apartment and looked pretty dang cool, so I snapped one off.

Hey Mynock, Everything has a reason, I wanted to show the 4mp photo, becavse of my poor 2x optical zoom. if I resize the photo each rose wovld be like 1/2 inch and you wovldnt be able to see the details..

You can just crop it then and not resize it. You can set the selection marquee to a specific size like 800px x 600px

I stick to 600 pixel width. Pretty standard, no distorting. :D

Hey primo.

The problem is that if I use the cropping you wouldn´t see the large picture, you would see the small one (a little big detail only).

But I next time I will try to resize my photographs.

Yeah, you noticed that is very weird, I found it in the Brazil at the Camboriu coast (a park like jungle) Looks like evil.

hey guys this is my first post in a while. Hows it been goin? Heres a shot of an orchid near my house. It's a bit crappy but it was one of my first shots with my new canon 350d.
