1st I'm not great at doing graphics. I'm pretty much upto cut and paste, so I need a little help with some lettering that is probally really easy for someone who knows what they are doing. I need the letters steep in an inverted "V" shape for one of my business brouchers and the metal in a heavy bold print, colored to look like blue'd steel. If anyone can give me a hand with it I would appericiate it. Please send anything you can. My email is mblaszkiewicz@yahoo.com
Are you asking someone to do this for you?
If so post it in the classified section along with how much you are willing to pay because we don't work for free.
If you just want to know how to do it yourself then tell us what programs you have and we can point you toward some tutorials.

Either way, Right now I'm using an old copy of Coreldraw10. I've tried some of the tutorials, and haven't had any luck. So any one that is good at explaining the process would laso be appericated

maybe you missed the point, there are no hand outs at this forum, if you seriously need a designers help, look at Kool's reply.
now i know you're probably thinking "geez, i just need a simple question answered" and you're right, but just like you need to get paid for putting effort into your job, so do we...
Plus we have enough requests to do stuff for free from family and friends, last i checked we didn't need any more opportunities to do free work.

Doctors and lawyers have to go through that too ("I have this mole, should I get it checked out?" "Can you look at this contract and tell me if I'm gonna get sued?").
Firefighters usually don't, though. When was the last time you saw someone say "Oh, you're a firefighter? Can you put this out for me?" [lights house on fire]

sounds like you either need to use photoshop for some "steel" textures or use gradients...that advice is free :)
if you need someone to do it for you, please post it in the classifieds...we are blessed with many talented designers on gdf so i recommend taking advantage of that.

Thank you for the info 3howards. Unfortunately I don't have photo shop. I tried it in coreldraw10, but it didn't have a steel or metal looking texture. Thanks anyways.
