World of Warcraft has jumped the shark for me I think. The game is becoming yawn...and the new content is *sigh*

So I know some of you play some games, what should be my new flavor of the month...mmo's are fine, I dont mind the monthly fee if the game is good

I don't play online very much, but I quite enjoy Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights.

I'm addicted to Unreal Tounament 2004. It's a rock'em sock'em shoot them up nonstop game. There are about 100 versions of the game and it's driving my wife up a wall!

I really did not like UT2003 that much so I never got 04. I think by the time I got 03 everyone was playing mod boards with 1 hit shock rifles. It got old quick.

Hey Dro maybe Morea is right, bust out some old games. Usually once a year during a major snowstorm I reinstall Diablo 2 and play for a few weeks till I get bored. BTW on WoW if you stop paying do they delete your characters right away or do they give you a few months to come back?

Much different now. All sorts of vehicles-tanks, 5 different flying craft, jeeps etc.....several weapons.

it's fun to revisit the classics every once in a while... last month I played Diablo - the original - again from start to finish. Great fun! :D

Chrono Trigger.......The greatest RPG ever :D A bunch of guys were remaking the game with updated 3-D graphics, but were issued a cease and desist letter from square. ROM or are you hooking up the SNES? Click here to hook a SNES controller to your computer (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=207&products_id=4234)

Every once in a while, I plug in my Atari 2600 and rock some Combat with friends.

Proof that a game doesn't have to be complicated to be a lot of fun.

If you're into RPGs, the Knights of the Old Republic series is pretty good and the LOTR RPG that came out about 6 months ago is awesome.

I was playing Star Wars Galaxies from june 2003-june 2005, and I quite enjoy life without it. Because as soon as I would get to where I was having fun or had something to shoot for they would go and change it. Now I play Madden 2006 on my ps2 and battlefield 2 on my pc. X-Men Legends 2 just came out I'm going to have to pick that one up for sure.

Legends 2 looks really cool. I just borrowed the original from my brother last month and I loved it. Supposedly you are supposed to be able to play online, do you know how that will work?

did you try "Fable"? I heard that was good. Haven't played it myself though.

Fable is good, but it's short so I hear.

ya I massacred fable in about 8 hours of play...maybe 10. That one is a stunning game, and I will buy the new lost legends one as well

I saw that online portion too. I absolutely lubbed the first X-Men Legends except for if you missed some of the items you couldn't use other stuff you onlocked, and the running through the mansion. Unless I can figure out to share the internet from my wireless through my pc to my ps2, it won't matter.

Don't know. Never really got those games. How can you make a sequel to a game called FINAL Fantasy?

I picked up a copy of legends 2 today and it pancaking rocks. They took all of the great aspects of the last game and improved on it. It feels like they took Diablo 2 and threw X-men into it. No more 1 player breaks when you are playing multi (retarded mansion missions) they have bases for each act (with storage box) , the blue x's act like waypoints. The skill tree is much improved as is the stat point allocation. (4 stat points and 1 skill per lvl) Lots of playable characters including the Brotherhood (Magneto, Juggernaut, Toad, ect.) I don't know how long it is going to take hour wise (I am on act 2 and have been playing multi-player all afternoon) but it is definitely a good pick up. Off to play darts and drink copious amounts of alcohol.
