Does anyone have any really good tips for removing that noise you get when taking a picture with a digital camera?

get a better camera : ) j/k, I have no clue, but that is the 1 major issue I have with digitals, its also the #1 complaint I have heard from people, I know that when I do buy a digital im going to make sure im in a nice quite camera shop and not at best buy or the like.

I use gaussian blur (.2 up to .4 or .5) before I use unsharp mask and resize in photoshop (but after color correction and levels) - not the perfect fix but it was ok for newspaper work.
And what D-frag said - a better camera helps, I'm sure.
If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done.
(When I grow up I want to be just like Keyare! He does excellent work - even when he's trying to not to.)

If you can get your images into photoshop, take a peek at each channel seperatley...most of the time one channel will be the main culprit behind the noise and you can blur just that channel to maintain some of the images sharpness.
Or like everyone's said, a better camera would help.
