My sister needed this book for one of her college course at UT (Austin) and said she didn't need itso she gave it to me, knowing I'd jump at the chance to read it, which I did.

I found it very informative in that it tells the general 'rules' of graphic design, tendencies viewers follow, and why the no-no's.. are no-no's, instead of just saying 'don't put your captions in this position.' He does a very good job of representing what graphic design is, its history, and gives a lot of visual examples demonstrating effective use of techniques and concepts.

10/10 in my opinion; I strongly recommend everyone reads it. If not to learn, then to take a look at some soid graphic designing.
