BC layout ideas

I am having to redo my new companies BC design and logo among other things.

so i am looking for BC layout ideas....

here is a rough idea i threw together....

also there wont be borders its a 2 color layout....right now there 4 color front 2 on the back

they said they dont mind spending extra if its different

wow that is hot as hell.. must be EXPENSIVE to print something like that damn!! i work in a print shop and we dont touch fancy stuff like that hehe ..

Perm.. love the first one. great design. I like the folded idea but like Key said that would be a pain to keep closed. The first one gets the message across and it's a nice bright piece. Good work.

get in touch with a printer and see what suggesstions they might have to keep it closed.

would I need to figure in extra width for the fold? like an extra 1/8 inch or so...

I work at a print house and your best bet is to contact who you are going to have print it and find out what they need. The special cut is going to cost you but I have to say that it will be worth it. Great design and way to be unique! Keep up the good work!

we are also getting it embossed (just the light bulb)

my bosses said they want kick ass business cards they print a 4/1 now anyways....

It's definitely kick ass but guess they aren't shy about spending money either. Spot varnishing can be a bit up there too. Nice to see someone that isn't afraid to spend money for a product that is that important to their business. So many ppl don't take the time to worry about thier business cards and they really should. First impressions are important.
