The vast majority of reprints is due to Typo's. Next time your client beats you over the head with the final printing piece because no one in their office bothered to read your proof. Blame the mistake on....

If only that would fix the banner.

I think I'm going to add this to my Terms and Conditions agreements just to see if anyone really reads them.

I take insulin for my diabetes. Is there a drug to treat Typoglycemia? Everytime it bites me in the butt, I get a real bad case of gag reflex. It happens too much and it makes me sick.

K, I got real question here. I am a graphic designer. I work at a small printshop and do all the typesetting as well. I mispell ALL the time. I'm a horrible speller. I could actually read that with no problem. Is it normal for graphic designers do be so horrible at typesetting? It's like my eyes play tricks on me. Like today. I faxed a proof to a customer. The email address was like... garylikerotous@dwfinc.com and I put garylikerotous@dwfinc.net. I got it back he corrected it and I had to ask someone what the difference was. I can't decide if I have a real problem or if all graphic designers that way. Maybe it was because it was at the end of the day on a Friday. I see some improvement within the the last six months...I think.

Christydesizns - don't beat yourself up. Us Print Shop owners just expect everything to be perfect every time. :D
Even my most experienced typesetters blow it now and again. It's called "Being Human" Be diligent and do the best you can, but don't expect to be perfect.....You know what they did to the last person that was perfect.....they crucified him!

lmao I know what you mean but I don't think its just graphic designers I think its linked to something else...for me at least. ;) I HATE it when I let things like that slip onto the marketing department. They love to get us for that :p
