Hey Viki,

Sent you a mail.

EDIT: Apparently, our designers deleted CS2 off of their machines coz it was problematic for them.

Sorry!

Whack it into Quark and re-export as an eps. Its not the best solution, and can make things a little messy, but its a good trick to know when you need to get something done fast and you can't find anyone with a newer version to dumb the file down for you.

no no distill and open the PDF in CS.
We do it all the time, newspaper production being done when everyone else has gone home.

Yep, Andrew helped me with this and distilling it and opening the pdf works perfectly!

Thanks Andrew again - and thanks to all that helped. :)

I just finished a 64 page InDD file made up of 355 pdf's. PS'd just fine, Preps imposed it in a snap, RIP kicked it out just as fast. I took the rip'd file, distilled it to pdf and put it back into InDD. Voila!

I hope you've learned your lesson.

We must all kneel at the altar of Adobe and buy every product they release on its opening day.

The true lesson is to always save Illy art to v10 EPS when sending it to anyone you don't know well enough.
