Free Internet in San Fran by Google

I came across a blog that brought this very interesting news to my attention and thought it only right to share. Google is working with the city of San Francisco to offer free internet to the residents. It would be funding by Google Ads!

Ya they were talking about this in a podcast I listen to. Not really fast 300k max, but completely funded in theory by ads. Say you were getting coffee at starbucks, Google, now knowing where you are would be able to send you ads, say for a sale at a different coffee shop down the street or a local diner, or doughnut shop. I don't really know how the ads would reach you, maybe instead of the ad words or some sort of popup in the google toolbar.
