Subscribing to forums

If Subscribing to forums,does it email you when someone posts a new topic and/or replies?
I know by checking 'Notify me of reply postings by e-mail' when you enter a thread that you have posted in,but what about posts or whole forums you dont post in.

Hope im not confusing anyone and asking a dumb question /emoticons/blink.gif

You can subscribe to any section by clicking on the main directory for that section. The subscribe link is at the top. We don't have one for the whole forum but I dont think you would want to anyway. Today you would have gotten about 300 e-mails. /emoticons/cool.gif
