nice and slick design, but a bit heavy on the the amount of text, personally i miss some short bullit point style headers to QUICKLY get an idea what it's all about...

I agree, smooth design. The front page is a little empty. I found myself wondering if it was still loading. I agree with text too. As a rule you should use multiple small paragraphs instead of large blocks of text. Large blocks tend to intimidate people and they usually won't read more than a few lines.
Your headings are smaller that the body text, which seems weird to me.

Well, importantly the sites on your portfolio are really good, I think.
I agree with the comments above: the title page seems like something is waiting to load because there's no content there. Why not use some of the space? Alternatively, make the central flash image resize to be larger in larger browsers - it seems a bit small at 1024x768.
I understand the need to put quite a bit of text if you are looking for search engine performance. Try to break it up a bit or put some other images in there.

Also, just a thought but if you want to attract corporate clients from USA or UK you might want to get a native speaker to proof read your copy. <a href="mailto:ben@jackfruitdesign.com" target="_blank">Email me[/ur] if you want any help.
