Check googles image search for 1970's

some thing to take pointers off of, would include 'Superfly', 'Charlies Angles', 'The Gong Show' and 'Lets Make a Deal'

might also check into a spoof movie mocking the 70's. it was released around 4 years ago, called 'Pootietang'. then again, you can always gather some points from 'Austin Powers'.
