Dragster paintjob...

I thought I'd share something I've been working on lately...a custom paintjob for a dragster. He has it narrowed down to about three designs, but he can't decide for sure yet. The paint will be sprayed over the winter months, so once it's complete I'll post it again with some final pics.

He pretty much let me have free reign to design as I wanted, his only issue was to keep it simple so it wouldn't cost a fortune to lay it out and paint it all.

Anyway...let me know what you think of these. Again, I'll post up some pics once he gets it painted, so you can see how it turned out.

The gray or grey on the second one just doesn't hold enough weight for me, but I like the other ones. I would like the second one in black also. I think the third is going to be the strongest after they paste it up with the decals depending on how many they have and where they are put.

I don't think there will be many decals installed...this guy isn't sponsored by a ton of people, which is good, it won't 'clutter' the car up.

I'm with Mynock as well.. Numero 2 with black, not grey. Big assed metal flake in the purple though.

Yes...I suggested to him to use metalflake as it's starting to make a big comeback. I love flake...I put it on my car when I painted it.
