The last one is the only one I remotely like. The first three are interesting, but do nothing for me. It could be the colors or it could be the design. The fourth one looks more like a logo for an adult sit for some reason. Could be the large X's. The forth one is nothing spectacular but play around a little and you might have something. That blue doesn't do anything for me. Try green you are dealling money you want to get that across. Try playing with the $ in Save, but it might be over used play around. Also start all your designs in black and white before going into color.

I see CompUSA with the last one. Otherwise I agree totally with Mynock. But before we get that far what's some of the background of the company?

Good points mynock, definitely green. That 4th one is definitely a no-go becuz the fade in the letters at the bottom, why are you trying to erase or fade the text away making it harder to read?? The bottom one is the strongest though it is very simple is the most readable. You could work on the kerning a little. However if you do decide to go with that perspective version #4, make them solid colors and make the "registered" mark normal, not perspective. If you want a more original, creative logo, try to come up with something graphical to accompany your text, keep it simple. I'd like to see more ideas, even though you have 5 versions, I really only see 3. Give me some more!!!!

I like it when people agree with me so much.

i agree that all need some work, i would liek to try another font - like impact, bold and simple, but a bit more modern, any ideas?

If you really want something good, try to come up with some ideas/concepts, sketch stuff out on paper even if it's sloppy. What do you want the company to represent, what kinds of things come to mind. Look at other companies similar to this one's logos. Just looking for a cool font isn't gonna do it. Great logos require time and a thought process. When you go to the computer make your roughs in black and white becuz if they don't work in black & white they won't work as great logos.

I agree with the others... I don't see a firm concept in these yet...

as keith said, the best way to tackle logo design is to brainstorm, sketch, brainstorm some more, sketch some more, and get your ideas pretty well defined BEFORE you even sit down at the computer.

You want to avoid gradients, drop shadows, and other effects like that... when you are working on your concepts, remember that if you ever use your logo on a fax or in a newspaper ad, it will have to work in black and white. Also bear in mind that it will need to work at all sizes imaginable - at 1" for business cards, and as large as you would see it on a billboard, in case you ever decide to do one.
