Newdesign for an existing site

Hi guys,

Having been put in the unfortunate position of being made redundant, I've had to rush out a new portfolio site.

The old one is at http://www.nomoredesign.co.uk

The prospective one is at http://www.chakandbex.demon.co.uk/test

I get the feeling the new one may chug a bit, so apologies in advance

Any comments would be super-appreciated as would a job(!)

Just real quick, it takes a long time for the images to load

Looks good, but I'd do something to try and reduce load time. If someone is quickly trying to get a feel for your work, it may test their patience.

are the load times a problem on both sites or just the first one?

Just the first image for me, I couldn't bring myself to wait for it anymore. The others were fine. Why not use the preloader bar for the first image also?

ya, preloaders look kewl and professional, and i dont think they are that hard to do really, looks like you know how to use flash ;)
and if you go for prealoaders, you can open up some new possibilities eg sound ;)
