Okay...before everyone says..."It's not very holiday-ish"...I know. Every year I do a car-themed Holiday card to send to all of my customers. I've been doing this for 10 years now and I've had many customers that really look forward to my cards every year. Even a couple that say they are saving for some day when I'm famous...yeah right...like that'll happen. I'll try to post up some of the ones I've made in the past as well, but for now, here's the one I'm sending this year....

I may tweak a few little things but overall, I think I like it as-is. As usual, it's all done in Illy 8.0.
Any feedback would be appreciated before I set these to print.
Thanks!
Here's a link to one I did a few years back...

hey, great illustration! That's amazing!
The only things that stick out to me are that
1) I'm not really keen on the orange text; though it contrasts with the blue it seems a little hard to read...
2) (and this may just be my ignorance) I am used to seeing a double (solid) yellow line in the center of the road instead of a single dotted line... if that has a particular significance to classic car tracks or something, just ignore this part! ;))
3) the door handle seems to be missing, although (again) I don't know if you would be able to see it from this particular angle.

man, the detail in that car is great. I mean, even the headlights, for heavens sake. You sure have a great talent, YNOT.

Wow, excellent work!
The orange text becomes a little straining on the eye as it enters the light blue background. But other than that, its beautiful!

I think the text may be just fine when printed out. I like it.

Yeah, it actually looks good when printed. Once I choose the final stock I'm printing them on, I'll test it and if it doesn't work, I'll change it up.
Thanks for the feedback so far.
P.S. today's my birfday...I'm 36 :-(

Great work, YNOT. You are really good at that. Not only are you handy with Illustrator (v 8.0 no less!), but you give these illustrations character and your own style. It takes years to develop that!

i'll be 36 in a couple months. i've been saying that i will be legally able to date girls 1/2 my age.
excellent work!
the only thing that bothers me (and only a little) is the squiglly yellow raod lines. nothing else has that cartoon feel i don't think the lines should either.
