Questin about PS Tutorials

Newbie here...On the PS tutorials on TIEM Design (for example'Ways to Use Shapes')

1. For this first part of the lesson let's see what we can do with the shapes below.

2. Here are three (black) shapes

The tutoaial goes on to indicate what to do with these shapes. Are we supposed to be able to acces these shapes from the tutorial, or are we to locate our own?

I sure hope this is not a really stupid question!

The tutorial is just showing you what can be done with shapes. Those are just the example it uses. You will have to either make your own shape or find one to use.
