Some of you might remember the last time I posted my logo. I've worked on it a bit since and have arrived at what I feel is almost finished. I've come a long way to finally be this close to happy with it. I hope you all agree that progress has been made, but I'm not certain I am completely satisfied yet. 95% satisfied, I'd say.

The progression is in order of the bottom to top (in the green). The blue section is the latest logo under an inversion color test.

So here it is. 3-4 years in the making.

I quite like the art nouveau feel to it. I even zoomed way out on it, and it was legible at a pretty small size.

Two nitpicky things I thought about - the "m" looks backwards to me (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), and the serif-y thing on top of the "D" doesn't really seem to match the style of the serify things on the rest of the letters. Maybe it's the angle, or the fact that it's not as curly - either way, it might be worth another look.

Otherwise everything looks great. You must be really proud! :)

It's trippy. Very art nouveau.

I'm not a huge fan of art noveau, but I'll offer my input objectively as I can. Your "s" might be to close to a "g" for me especially how it drops below the baseline.

I like your latest one the best, but I agree with Mynock about the S looking like a G. Maybe if the hook on the s wasn't so low...I think if you even it up with the hook on the c it won't look so exaggerated.

I think there should be special rewards for the 777th post, like a golden taco. I already got 72 virgin's from GreenThumb, so I think it's a good week to give.

I really like your newest one. I love seeing the transition between concepts, it really shows how much time was put into it.

All right. So, having taken y'all's suggestions into account, I've arrived at this:

See if you like this direction better.

Okay, here's your chance to make double sure. Both the new and the old side by side.

I thought it was an ambigram at first I was all tilting my head trying to make it read backwards and upside down... I feel foolish :)

Cool logotype. I always thought it was better to make your own typeface than use a pre-existing one - especially for a logo. I'm still having a little trouble with the S, although I might not have noticed if it hadn't been pointed out already. Anyway, would rounding off the upper left portion help make it look less like a G? Rounding off that portion would still keep most of the top form flat, so it wouldn't be interfering with the compostional lay line you've incorporated into the logo. I gave it a try, but I don't think its any more or less S like one way or the other. What do you think?

Actually, I think that does help. I had mentioned just raising the hook, but maybe that's not quite enough.
