Its neatly done, and adequately showcases your work.

In Firefox, the services page was way off. Like the tables overextended.

You know that pisses me off because it has been built to specific specifications that every table was calculated to the exact dimensions that were needed and then some stupid other browser comes along and the developers weren't smart enough to make it designed around specifications so it gets all screwed up. It seems to be mostly in the spacing. It seems to read spacing differently than IE does which is causing my site to look all stupid. Crap... sorry for the vent. It's just a bit frustrating after you work so hard to make it look "visually" correct and then this... any advice here?

Very slick site Chris. The question marks on your index page works very well in drawing attention to the message. Solid!

I like your site, Chris. Navigation and design is nice. I think your site need good header with nice pic and slogan. IMO, layout and appearance should be professional. Site should have nice optimized content with right keywords to get search engine ranking and targeted traffic. All the best! :)

Just a quick clarification -- your problem has nothing to do with the Firefox developers not being smart enough, in fact, the opposite is true.

In the beginning, Internet Explorer and Netscape were at war to gain market share, so they did everything differently. Web designers went nuts trying to make their sites look the same in both browsers, and often their solution was to design two different sites (if they had the budget), just shrug their shoulders and accept that part of their audience would be lost, or provide a really watered down design so that everybody would be happy.

A group of web designers/developers then got together and pushed these companies (Microsoft, Netscape) to comply with a set of standards -- a set of rules for browser developers AND designers to live by. (See http://www.w3.org/).

Firefox came along and kicked IE's butt in terms of web standards compliance. It's a better browser than IE, not the other way around.

But yes, you're right -- Internet Explorer does interpret spacing differently than Netscape and Firefox, because it does it WRONG. It gets "the box model" wrong (CSS).

The best advice I can give is to learn a little bit about the box model and test your site in IE and Firefox (and any other browsers you can get your hands on) WHILE you're designing, before you get too far.

This is, of course, all just an "FYI" -- your site looks just fine to me though. :)

Thanks again for all the compliments. STACY yes I'm thinking of making the index page a bit more POW so it looks clean and not as sturated with green. I think that will make the index page a bit more pleasing and solid. As far as allowing the search engine to hit the key words on my pages I'm going to add a META tag with keywords so I don't need to change my logo image to accomidate that.

Also SORRY for the rant on went on about FIREFOX, I just had a long day and then to find out my site wasn't perfect to what I had designed it to was a bit frustrating. THANK YOU SO MUCH EC for the information on Firefox, IE and Netscape. It was all very useful in allowing me a better understanding. Thanks again.
