How do you have watercolor pool along a selection line in Painter 8?

When I use a watercolor brush on a watercolor layer, I would like to be able to make a selection, paint inside the selection and when the watercolor spreads and diffuses within the selection, it would be nice if the diffused running color would stop at the inside edge of the selection and accumulate or pool so that it darkens along the edge........
so what do you think, is it possible??

HI ..
Play around with the 'straight line' control on the brush control palette, on a separate layer. Might help.

Hi - yes, it does help....what I ended up doing though was inverting the selection, deleting and then using the burn tool along the edges.
