Hi Everyone!
I would like some advice. Which software would you recommend for creating my own fonts/typefaces. I am brand new, so nothing too complex, but something also that works well.
Thanks :)
Kim
Welcome to the Forum!
The letter guy will stop by shortly and let you know. I've never created typefaces so I can't tell you.

I haven't heard from court in a while either. Last I heard from him he landed a great job developing a font for Miller! He didn't have an internet connection yet, but I think he was working on it..?
Issue 57 of Computer Arts Projects (http://www.computerarts.co.uk/magazine/default.asp?pagetypeid=2&articleid=29319&subsectionid=855&subsubsectionid=774) has a few great tutorials on creating your own fonts. They use ScanFont and TypeTool...which I've never heard of...?
Fontographer seems to be the big one that most people use.
