I work at a small company which is an Adobe Service Provider, meaning that we get all the latest print related Adobe software when it comes out. My question, for those of you in a similar situation, is how many machines can I put CS on, and do I have to register it. I know that Quark 6 has a mandatory registration policy that turns your software into Demo mode if you don't register in a week, and I hear Adobe has a similar policy.

Is this true, or can I just never register it and put it on our machines as they upgrade to system 10 (my personal laptop is the only machine on system 10 so far)?

Thanks,
Jason

How much do you value your Service Provider status?

That is a question I'm sure Adobe would love to answer for you.
You will probably have to buy seats.
Photoshop CS for PC is the only CS software requiring registration to activate. So far.

PrintDriver is a large format digital print dude. His advice/opinions may not apply to the 4color/offset/web world of printing

I'd register them and you will probably have to buy seats, as PD said.

Thanks guys. I'm really the only one that uses this software for anything, so I don't think we will get into troulbe. I was mainly concerned with installing it on my ibook and then not being able to do so on the main production machine when we upgrade to OSX.
