hello fellow designers... sending you this for you to check out and tell me how i could improve them, but also please please vote for me... read the following for what it entails... i cant describe how much it willmean to me if i win...

1. go to the 'view entries' link...
i have a few on pages 2 and 6. in order to vote for them, you will have to log-in which consists of 30 seconds to give them your mailing info because for every time you vote on a board (all boards and designs are eligible for a vote) you will also be entered in a drawing for snowboarding goodies....
2. vote for my boards which are under the name 'ryan anne polli'... and if you are willing to make me happy and vote a 10 on them... specifically vote for "crest" (which someone on page 1 ripped me off), "soar" and "red chopper treatment" and if fire on the mountain makes it in on time for judging, that one too... the "warren' Board' were a joke and now i cant take them off.... even better, if you would vote a 1 on the other peoplesentries, hey:D rock on...
3. what does this do for ryan? if she wins.. she will recieve a snowboard built to her size specs with her design on it... subsequently, this is one of the hurdles for her winter snowboarding trips (board rentals) as an expense she can't afford...
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!!! even better if you judge the others accordingly... i like to think mine are worth voting on :D

Have never snowboarded, have always wanted to, do not have the time/money to do that just yet. It looks like it's a blast, and it would alleviate boredom, because Iowa is synonymous with "Bored out of my mind...AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

It's snowing outside right now. There's about 3 inches of fresh powder, it's just totally dumping. Gives the snowboarder in me the butterflies.

Actually, there's two within a half hour's driving distance from me. BTW, I'm in Eastern Iowa, right on the bluff, so there's a lot of variation in the topography here. If I took a landscape shot w/ my digital you wouldn't think it's Iowa. It's actually a **insert more masculine term for "beautiful" here** view when driving...once you start driving towards Nebraska, though, it's nothing but corn.
Speaking of weather, it's around 50 degrees here. :D
First of all, I believe you. Between MN, IL and IN, I've lived 17 years in the midwest. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been is southwest South Dakota.
But seriously, produce the mountain. People in minnesota, wisconsin, michigan, all claim to have ski resorts. I have been driven right up to one, parked, and had people point at the mountain, and I honestly could not see it. "Where, where?!!"

LOL Right, but how can you ski/snowboard on the hill, that's no fun. I take that back. Get your butt to a hill and strap on a board, it's too much fun. Money schmoney.

Actually there are some fairly large one's here, but it doesn't even come close to a mountain resort. Considering what we've got to work with, it's something.
There is a resort not far from where I live, I consider it a "hill" -- it's got a ski lift that takes forever to get to the top, and about 1 1/2 minutes to get to the bottom. It's still worth it though, and looking out my window and reading this thread, I'm seriously dying to take a snow day. (I've got too much to do if I want to take tomorrow off and enjoy turkey without stressing about my deadlines).

I don't play cricket, well i do but i'm no good at it. I bat like a number eleven, and bowl like a number one batsman. However I probly could bat better than Stuart MacGill (Aussie leg spinner).
I'm just pissed we lost the ashes, oh well we've just taken our rage out on the West Indies.

Thats basically what the main resort in Oz is. I'm pretty sure it doesn't register on the international standard for calling landforms 'Mountains'. I have to drive 9 hours to get there, and the snow season lasts for about 2 months here. Its actually almost as cheap to go New Zealand and have great snow.

Jeez dude, its called a joke. As for England, yes I have been to it for a 10 day cricket training camp in 2000.
The "hate England" reference was a reference to the Ashes Cup, played between England and Australia. And "The Office" that I like is not the English version, its the US.
Do you know ANYTHING? :(

hard to take a blank statement like "I HATE ENGLAND" as a joke, especially when there is no other info, (that kind of humor doesnt work very well online)
also "the office" IS English ( I watched it when i lived there long b4 i came to america, just cuz its aired in america dont mean it doesnt come from England,...
oh well, thanksgiving in morn, lets not turn this in to an argument

Oh, 1's are bad? I didn't know because 1 was at the top of the rank dropdown and I figured it was 1 for like "Number 1" or like golf scoring or something. :p
Kidding, I gave you a ten; don't know if other people are just slaughtering everyone elses. Are you able to see any overall scores for other people, or just yourself, because maybe this same thing is happening all around?
