I am a illustrator/graphic designer, and work in several different mediums. However, I specialize in Illustrator/vector art.
Let me know what you think!

You site could use some improvements with its layout and navigation. Like for instance on your portfolio page if I wanted to jump from your markers to you layout section I either have to hit the back button or click portfolio again.
The look is plain and simple which is good.
Now what I really like is your hand drawing skills. Very nice! I love the cartoons and the airbrush of the apple was just sick! You must have a very steady hand.
So welcome to the GDF and stick around you might love this place.

Jadomino,
Welcome to the GDF man!
You've got some skills in the illustration department..and based on the one portfolio piece in your layout section..you've got some design skills as well. However, your site leaves a little something to be desired.
I'd stand 100% behind Perms comments about it being 'chunky and big'.
It's very difficult to navigate your portfolio..especially when each sample is opening up in a window by itself... with no way to see another sample than to hit the browser back button.
Your layout sample and your signature seem much more refined and sophisticated..you may benefit from bringing that same level of finish to your site, along with a newly thought out navigation direction.
You're certainly talented and your site seems to detract from the rest of your work.

Thanks for the input, it is much appreciated.
Believe me, I have had several versions of my site (hence the "3.0") and all of them were pretty amateur compared to my current one. But I am well aware that I can do MUCH better.
Geocities is VERY limiting, and I think I've done alright for myself despite it's limitations.
Regarding the navigation and layout, I wanted to have something simple and clean, because I am a big fan of minimalism and use of white space. This was done not only as an aesthetic choice, but also so it wouldn't interfere with my artwork, which can get quite busy at times (especially with my newer vector art).
The problem with having each piece open on a new page or a separate window is something I will look into. I will explore incorporating the images into the pages themselves so the viewer will not have to hit the back button each time. I agree it is annoying to have to do so each time. However, this means that each piece will need its own page and I do not know if my Geocities account is large enough to hold that makny pages. As for the "chunky and big" feeling some of u mentioned, this is a resolution problem I'm guessing. Not only that, but I think viewing my artwork in a larger scale is better.
If you've noticed, with my page layout piece, and my newer vector images, and even my signature, my style is evolving and changing. This is due to me taking some courses this year that have helped me in my work, and I think its reflected in my newer pieces. The site was done before I took these courses, so I think it shows I am still learning.
Again, thanks for the comments, believe me, artistic criticsm is one of the best tools in an artist's development.
