grrr my graphics keep going funny

I want to have a load of words come onto the screen - begining really large and shrinking to the right size.

simple process type the word - convert to symbol - graphic - name accordingly- enlarge - create motion - tween shrink easy right.

i've been making each word a separate graphic but it keeps changing back to the first one i created - well odd. i mean it looks right to start but as soon as i tweenthe second one it just changes to look like the first. it looks as it should in the library but when i drag a new instance on stage it's exactly like the origional graphic - grrrrr:mad:

any ideas what's going on peeps?

Because you are editing the tween rather than creating a new symbol. It's a common mistake ;)

nope - i made sure i was in the scene not the tween - i think it was just a random glitch - i reloaded it and all the problems where still there - i deleted them all and did it over - not a problem. very strange.

You have to make sure the tween is on both keyframes before you do any changes to the graphic or it will revert to the first keyframe once you set the end frame to a motion tween... if that made sense?

Edit: I just re-read your post and I dont think my post helps at all... sorry, I dont really understand the problem?!

yeah i know what you mean - both keyframes need to be either blue or green at each end of the arrow - it was a crazy ramdon occurance - with anyluck it will never happen again
