I Got a Job

Yeah Guys! I got me a job, guess where....Vistaprint! I know I was anxious about travel, and I kind of shrugged it off, but they called me today, and asked me about the process and my intrest, I told them currently I wouldn't like to travel, and I thought they were gonna say 'okay then, goodluck', but instead they said let me talk to the others about this....Short time later, they call again....'you wont have to travel, its wont be a requirment for you.' AWESOME...then she started talking more...and then the big thing...'Can you start june 18!!!' I flip out, I'm hired I'm dancing around the room, shes talking I'm dancing while listening, I'm pumping my arm, I'm mouthing to my friend what shes saying, YEAH I'm hired...I'll be starting june 28 instead so I can give two weeks at my retail job. AWESOME!!!

I know I'll be working with templates, but I'll be helping design some of em, working in a fast paced deadline driven environment, and It'll be great to have a real design job, I'm expecting this will make my type skills better as well. I'll be able to do some illustrative work as well, totally cool.

Now how do i do my resignation note to Foodmaster.

but really I'll be kind, they are gonna be my pt job for a while longer.

Way to go! That's really great that you stood up and voiced your 'no traveling' preference. Some wouldn't have had the guts to do that... but that's great that you did and that they said OK! I'm sure you'll be much happier - rather than just settling for what they may have given you.
