last night i was workingon my Dual 1.25ghz g4 mac and then i noticed that the display kinda flickered (more towards the bottom of the monitor)... then i looked closer and realized that the vertical height of the screen was randomly shifting, this is really pancakeing wierd! is this a sign that my monitor is about to go???

Like DZ said, check for sources of EM around. New TV set? Cell phone? New Stereo? New computer speakers? Fridgerator magnets?
One day a Project manager put a 4lb earth magnet on the top of my monitor. Talk about weird! Sorta sucked everything up. Coulda killed him.
And cell phones really can muck up your monitor.
Try moving that mouse base away too.

well it seems to be fine now, i tried unpluging the surger protector and pluged it back in... we've been having some power surges here in tampa, fl area, i guess it had something to do with that maybe...
