Too bad you're too young though.

i'm a republican--i don't think bush is. he has really crossed the line on domestic issues.
a sick feeling will come over me when i pull the lever for kerry.
i hope he doesn't take credit for the rising economy, but he will.
it think that is all i should say, i dont want to start a huge political battle here!

we have the same problem as last election, both of the canidates are roughly the same, you might be saying BULL, but bush isn't such a staunch conservative, he's basically pissed on the constitution....
Affirmative action : He supported its continued use in the michigan case, and he supports continued racism...you guys must be saying WTF, but I would like to see people to get in on their own merits to get in because of the color of your skin is demeaning to that person, and schools should be accepting the best talent, not those who do well, and happen to be black, asian, caucasian and such
Campaign Finance Reform: He didnt veto it because he 'knew' congress would not pass it, but again it passed, and now your right to freedom of speech is now limited before elections, so anyone that doesnt like bush for a certain reason cannot say so in advertising on tv, read up on it this is a begining to cutting our speech.
Illegal Aliens/Jobs being shipped overseas: Either one we the citizens of our nation are losing jobs, and those who come here legally arent able to get good work, and our welfare program is supporting WAY to many people than our taxes can support, Get a job, stop living off of the government.
Okay, as far as taxes need to go we need a flat tax, across the board this is the only fair thing, taxing people more casue they earn more money is dumb because they will create less jobs, why run a bigger business if your going to be Taxed more heavily to run it.
Bush has failed in corporate accountability, the enron ceo isnt even on trial yet 5 years later, but MArtha stewart is already come and gone.
War in Iraq: Okay, touchy issue, but I believe the war is justified if not on the WMD issue, but as an anti terrorism tactic. Saddam was paying families of suicide bomers 25000 dollars, now that was in Israel, but could have just have been as easily our own nation. He killed many of his own people, but people still are Pointing a finger at bush as a terrorist??!!?!?
And though we are in iraq, it will be a long time before we can leave.
Osama: we dont got em yet.....wait till just before election day I'm sure we'll have em
There are other issues, believe me I am conservative, but bush is not representing things as I would. Please chew this over, dont flame me, I've been here long enough to know how coarse we can be, but thats where I stand. I do wish we had another canidate, but I will not vote for Kerry, and I will not vote for Nader, I might simply write in Pat Buchanan.
My stripes have been revealed, I wish we had the america from back in the eighties for some reason I feel it was safer, cause right now I am scared for where we are going as a nation and as a world.
So far as I know I stand alone on the conservative platform, but I will wave a flag and I will say I am proud to be an American, you will not see me anywhere else in the world right now, but I am glad I am here
God bless America

i couldn't disagree with you if i tried, on anything you said up there.
i'm pretty conservative, i don't know what to call bush.
my only liberal plight is to end the war on drugs--seriously.

If I was american, i'd vote for Nader, because it sounds like Darth Vader. Darth Nader...nice ring.
I hope whoever gets in sorts things out...if the US goes down the drain, Canada will likely be fast on it's heels.

Hey Drorain - that makes three of us. :) I also agree with what you've said.
(Well, that wasn't so bad - maybe we should talk about religion too - Hey Benjo want to talk about the 'Passion'? - I've seen it. :)
If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done.

Ah the passioin...
LTG you see your making this into a bomb thread. Why? Cause were talking about Politics and you want to drop religion on it. LOL!
Anyway great movie wasn't it? Not for the week at heart but then again Christianity never was.

Well, I just thought the political discussion had gone so well (no one coming to blows or anything) that it might actually work. A couple weeks ago you were wanting to talk about the movie and didn't get any response and I went to see it last week and so now I can talk about it.
I don't want to cause a huge ol' deal though so maybe I should just PM my opinions to you.
