Hi guy,
The Adobe softwares my company brought contains quite a bunch of clips arts within (mainly from Ill I believe). Though it's quite common sense, I'd like to ask and clarify if there's any restriction on using them. I'd rather be safe and paranoid then get into serious trouble later.
Thanks in advance for your help. :)

eugh... man dont use clip art, any designer worth their salt should be able to draw whatever they want, Be it from their mind or from reference material.
Personally i would only use clip art if a situation arose that prevented me from drawing, like my head falling off or something.

I understand and totally agree with u distruktor.
But this project is slightly different. I need about 20+ of them all in the same styles, it's not in the budget to spend the effort and time. Besides, I'm using them only as background decorations, which means they don't really need to be much original.
So, I can use em without worries?

By clipart do you mean the samples?
Those are all © by Adobe. You'd need their permission to use it for a real project.
The templates you can use, just not the art.
By clipart do you mean something from the Goodies folder on the install disk?
Read the licensing.
Usually that stuff is "samples only" and the owner wants you to pay if you use it for a real project.

Thanks PD.
I can't remember which directory it's from as I've copied them onto the hard disk. They're stored in ill (vector format), but I'll double check to be safe.
Time to put on my reading glasses...

I suppose that's a yes. There's not other files refering to the clip arts and it's stored in the goodies directory.

I usually use clip art as a reference point to inspire my own creations.
