I have redesigned this site for a collection agency and would like input.

Important ideas to represent according to the client:

1. What makes them unique is the fact that they do every level of recovery: Primes, Seconds and Tertiary (most companies specialize in one or two)

2. Wants to come across as professional and people friendly - show staff.

3. Use testimonials. He had the testimonials buried in the copy, but I moved it out to the red callout area.

His text is a lot of copy, I am suggesting that he consider a rewrite to simplify.

Much better than the old one. I think the images are a bit grainy and overcompressed. I agree, there is too much text. On most of the pages, the 'get' in 'get PAID' from the read box is on top of the testimonial person's name.

Thanks, I have removed the redundant text, it is clear what the testimonials are without the preamble anyway.

yes, the new version is definitely better, but i think it's a bit graphics heavy. i'm on broadband (cable) and it took a little longer to load than a site should. it's a collection agency so they really don't require a graphics-heavy site. i think you can pull off professional and people-friendly without excess graphics.

i also agree with ryan that some graphics are too grainy, especially the gradient wave at the top.

nice job ...

Nice job comparred to what was there. I agree that it's alittle graphic heavy. You might want to dump down the graphics but it still looks good.

Yuck, what a horrible site the original was!

Thanks for all of your ideas. I have reordered the pages. The Quick Facts page seemed to be an easier read to get the reader into the heavier text.

I am working on the graphics. The home page is built in Photoshop as an image map. I am trying to get the best image/lowest size I can. It is a juggling act.

I am on a Mac with higher resolution to view it, so I sometimes forget about lower res monitors. On mine, it is very smooth and looks great. Thanks for the reminder.

in regards to the image mapping, you know that's going to reek havoc on the rankings in search engines. i don't recommend using them becuase the search engines don't sift through images, they sift through code/text.

The overall redesign looks great! Much, much more personal and eye-pleasing. And, while I'm sure you'll be altering the text in some areas, there was one area right now that is in front of a picture - making it hard to read.
