He he he....my letter to the editor was published in the December/January '06 Dynamic Graphics mag. (Brandon Little, Atlanta)

Much better than the alternative of wasting time writing to a magazine only to have them ignore you completely.

what is dynamic graphics like never looked at it. is it worth it?
I always go for Comm Arts, HOW, Package Design mag, GD USA, ID,

Um...yes! Yes, it's worth it. I would suggest you check out the website: www.dynamicgraphics.com and you'll find a bunch of good stuff there, though not 100% of the mag content. Yah, stuff like GD USA is nothing but a paper ad, I think.
Some of the others are good, but take a look at Dynamic Graphics. They're also part of the Graphics.com network. First thing I noticed about GDF, actually. :-)

GD USA is more for whats going on with companies, where designers are going etc. it does have alot of ads but what design mag doesn't. Most of the ads are cool to, free samples are always good.

GD USA seems to be 90% ads. Those cougar paper samples are pretty neat though.
And my favorite ad in there was the Corbis one with the hairy man in the bikini. I saved those for like 5 months. Then I posted them in various parts of my sisters room. When she'd take it down, I'd replace it with another. Man that was fun.
