Hey everyone,
Just finished off my new site and was hoping for some feedback. I've struggled with so many portfolio sites in the past with trying to find the best way for layout... I think this style may work best so far... just one page, nothing to click on and confuse people!
What do you guys think? I imagine everyone her has struggled with how to display their portfolio at one time or another....

Work aside.... the site design works fine for just displaying ones work.
I think it works perfectly in combination with your style.
One thing I allways hate is when ones site design over powers the work within.
Even though, your site is very much designed as if you were doing an illustration... it still sits second next the presence of your work.

i was to crazy about the photoshoped pic. i would consider removing that one it doesn't really fit.
the site is simple & works just like it needs to.
the links to your web designs are a little small If you want to do more web work you may want to rethink that

Love the illustration, did you draw roughs by hand and then vectorize and color them? Just curious, that is the way I work. I think it should have been done on at least 2 pages maybe a home page with your logo and than the art on another page, just a thought, love the work and that is what matters most.

ya I was kinda thinking about making those squares for the web examples a bit larger... I noticed a few friends overlooking them while I watched them browse....
As for my illustrations, I usually scan and import my sketch into illustrator, then "vectorize" it by tracing over my sketch.

There's something screwy with the header when I view it.
Mac OSX with Firefox. It's the same when I view it in Safari.
Here's a screenshot.

thanks for all your compliments! It means a lot coming from other designers in the industry.
To Print Driver: thanks for taking the time for grabbing a screenshot to illustrate your comment. Actually that isnt an html hiccup; i actually meant to do it that way, lol. But it did look a little screwy so I changed it around a bit since then. Also took some images off the main page and added a bio in there.
Also added a new page, you can see it by going to http://www.dieselshack.com and clicking on the link that says 'web design'...
If someone wants to take the time to read through what i wrote for my 'web design' page.... how does it sound? Too long winded maybe?
I think ill be doing more pages as well for the other sections (illustration, brochures, interactive presentations, etc)
