Theophile-Alexandre Steinlen was a Swiss born graphic artist and reproductions of his historic vintage posters are in great demand, particularly among cat lovers for reasons that will become obvious when you look at the examples of Steinlen's work shown below such as Tournee du Chat Noir.
and he is now immortalized on my back...(sorry I hope to get better and more pics when it looks more like art and less like wound)

Should be putting Palmolive dish soap on that Tatoo. It looks like its starting to scar and bleed a little (hence the bandage).
I used to live next door to a Tatoo Artist (for several years), who owned a shop. He recommended the palmolive dish soap and none of his customers scard nor bled.
It was cool he used to give my brothers and I several free temp tatoos, lasted for a few weeks. It was like a stamp on the skin, but the ink took a bit to break down by washing.

I was researching "natural honey" and on webmd.com it is said in a few studies that if you have a burn or a cut (big or small), to help the healing processes you could use a small bit of the "natural honey" not the stuff in the bear (processed). and it helps with healing and prevents infections.

yeah that was immediately after. I have some ointment/lotion they recommended, and i've been putting that on...I'll put some Palm. on it when I get home tonight...might require the assistance of the lovely young man I just met:)
Do I dilute the Palm. or just put it on there straight?

Don't dilute the soap. Just put some in your hand, smear it around, dont get it to lather (foam up), just pour it out in your hand and rub your hands together like your putting on some lotion (1 to 2 hand circular motions), then apply it like a massage, or he can. ;)
Is it pretty sore? looks like on the lower back and fully colored in.. ouch, shouldn't be to bad. At least its not near a bone (nuckles, back, shoulderblades, ankles). My mom has a white tiger face on her ankle, a turtle on the top of her hand between thumb and index fingers, and a tiger on her back that needed fixing (from the last time), and a paradise bird on her left calf muscle.
I dont have any tats on me, my mom does (she advertised for him, and got free tats), and thats what he told her to use. non of the 5 tats that she got ever scard over or bled alot, you have to put it every so often, wash it with a hot towel before and when you apply more. Also create a patch (bandage) for night with the palmolive, and you can also use neosporin for the patch.
Getting your skin pierced by a needle that many times creates agitation and some swelling. Get an ice pack too, it will help cool it down.

If I got a tatoo I think my skin would explode.

yeah...well so far mine is not doing that bad...have to pick up some more unscented lotion. And I was told by the artist no Pal.!
Navian

Why did he say no Pal? Did he have a reason? The artist I knew did that and told all his clients for years to do that, and they have had no problems.
Unless the artist you used, uses a wierd ink, that reacts to it.
Looks like your skin is reacting pretty wierd around the tatoo.
Oh do not get one Reuber of you are a hemopheliac (bleeding doesnt stop), you will have some problems. I think they ask you that when you sign paper work when you get one.
I also know a Polanesian (Samoa I believe) guy, that had some tatoos done the traditional way of his people. Pig tooth needles, on a long stick, that where tapped into his skin for 36 hrs. He said, he was in so much pain they had to do it next to a local stream to cool his skin down every 20 min. He has it from the backs of his legs over to the front up his side, on his butt, and over his stomach, stopping below the chest. small 4 rows of dots (the size of the tapping tool needles) in tribal patterns.

I wasn't planning on it to begin with, not a tatoo fan. Besides, I'm one of those damn ginger kids with really pale skin, freckles where a tan should be, I manage to get sunburned during winter and etc. Oh, roacia too (I think that's how it's spelled). I'm sure with all of that, my skin would probably not like a tatoo.

eep, no traditional tats for me...
The stuff surrounding the tatt was just original ooze and cream from the tattoing.
It looks pretty good now. I got the creams and the lotions...no fragrances and it feels good...

I’d like to see this once it completely heals in a couple weeks.
Dish soap is ok for your new tat but you have to be very careful that there is no perfume in it.
The very best for your new tat is Lubriderm & my guess is that is what your artist told you.
If that is your first tat it won't be your last. They are very addictive (kind of like GDF) if it's not your first you already know what I mean.

Also, people who snores you should really get it checked out:
http://www.webmd.com/diseases_and_conditions/sleep_disorders.htm
My wife has Sleep Apnea. She has to be carefull cause sometimes she quits breathing for about 20 seconds, so now she has to wear this machine to help force her to breathe.
If you dont get it taken care of, it could cause you some major problems.
Like conjestive heart failure.

Yeah I picked up the Lubriderm...actually its knock off. It feels nice...though remotely like a sun burn. I'm doing good and my friends can already note how much better it looks. I already have the next two planned. I'm totally stoked.
