Let me just first say, that Adobe charging us $40 to install THERE software, is ****ing stupid to say the least. Another thing thats upsetting, is that if I was installing there Creative Suite 2 on a 32 bit machine they could help me without charging me. Im so ****ing frustrated right now I could scream. Its funny, because ive worked on hacked versions of this shithole software that ran flawlessly, but getting this to work on a legit software license, and on a 64 bit OS, is like trying to get a turtle to run a marathon.

So anyone have any advice, as I type this I have 6 looming deadlines, and no machine to work on. I would love nothing more then to get a hacked version at this point, as I am completly beyond even working with Adobe systems at this point in time, they are unfair, biased, and completely greedy. Any advice?

I've no luck with that, IT guys at work handle all the installs, and at home I'm on an edu. version of CS2 on my mac

I can't install Adobe Creative Suite 2 on a 64 bit Windows XP machine.

Adobe defaults to something like C://Program Files (x86)/Adobe
but it wont let me install to that location because it says "Invalid characters" my only other option is to save into C://Program Files/Adobe but I tried that and everything works okay, it updates and registers and all that, but when I try to launch any of the programs I get an error saying "Invalid serial number, organization, or name" something along those lines.

im freaking out here, any help anyone can give me is much appreciated, ive googled the hell out of this, called adobe, no luck. I have read that it is possible to run Adobe CS 2 on a 64bit machine, but no where does it tell you HOW to do it, im stumped and slowly losing my sanity.

sorry i pulled x64 off my machine because there were far too many other issues with adobe software, so i can't test what you're saying, but i'll give it a go when i get to work tomorrow
