Is there anyway in the universe to recover am Illustrator file that was recently saved over? I'm on PC.

Can't you "turn back the clock" on a PC somehow? (Restore settings to a previous date)?

I'm not exactly sure how you do it; but if it's critical, might be worth looking into. Sorry can't be more help.

It may, stress may, be recoverable if you have a utility disk and do a search and restore. The original file may not be overwritten even if its location data is. The sooner you try this, the more luck you may have. As time passes, the likelihood of the file being overwritten increases.

Unless you are on a server and it was backed up like PD said, then the only thing left to do is: do it over.

You only get better and faster when you have to redo something. Sometimes you can create a better design when doing it over.

What about trying system restore? I know this is kind of a drastic measure, but I know that it is possible with PC, if you have not backed up your work or saved to another server,etc... I think that is basically what PD said...Good luck!

Probably to late now but if the file was still open you could undo back to the starting point.
