I'm thinking about SLR camera but I can't decide wich one to buy digital or not, both have some + and - What's your opinion about that ?
Digital! I worked in a camera store for three years and fought the "digital revolution" at first...but I don't think I will buy a film camera ever. period. Any specific ones in mind? What are you going to be shooting? Plus the price on dig slrs keeps going down and the quality keeps going up!

yes, mos def dig slr, especially if you're only now looking at an slr which would lead me to believe your newer to photography. digital slr gives you the opportunity to learn from your mistakes & try new tricks at a lower cost in the long run. No developing fee etc. I got myself a Digital Rebel last spring and it's been awesome to have. I'm finally putting thost photography classes I took in college back into use!

I dont know how much they have improved the last time I researched them.
But do the new digital cameras catch the same true natural colors and light (via extended exposure time, when snapping the photo) as to a really nice film camera?
I know that some film cameras when set up, you put (i think) a 20 second exposure time on some shots, and you can get really nice color and lighting.
For a while I knew digital cameras lacked in that ^ areas, now with the new cameras, I'm not so sure.

I have a photographer friend who has gone over to some Canon digital SLR, he swears by it. Of course he is also quite well versed in adjusting in photoshop as well. His camera is damned expensive though.
