Hi, I'm considering buying a flash template from templatemonster.com, but before I do, I wondered if anyone else out there has any experience of doing so?

I'm basically wondering how easy it is to customise it with my own images etc, given that my knowledge of actionscript is limited to say the least.

Any tips?

Thanks,

They usually make them fairly easy to customize if you have a reasonable amount of general Flash knowledge.

I've purchased two of them, for the sake of speed. One was quite complex and pushed my knowledge of actionscript to modify, the other was quite simple.

Why buying if you can create it your self? try to create it..if you got a little bit of imagination you will do it!

My very first website was bought from them (and then modified heavily). I used it primarily because out of ideas for my personal site, AND because I needed something more than my actionscript book to learn flash.
It proved to be an excellent learning tool, both for getting around flash, and learning actionscript. Most of their code wasn't really commented though. Just the parts needed for customization, and what you see on the website is what you get. i.e. If there is a contact form, it probably doesn't include the cgi/php script for it to work, and if there are buttons that don't actually work, don't expect them to.
Overall though, great tool for learning.
