Illi CS2 question

We just upgraded to CS2 - I'm noticing that when I get an eps from another source, the icon is that of the default icon ("Previewer" icon for the mac). When I do a save as and overright that file, the icon won't change to an illy icon. Is there a reason why? I'm downsaving to CS, 10 or 9 depending on who'll be accessing it. Could this be why?

That could just be the default viewer for EPS files... go into info > Open with > Change to open with Illy, then Change All... if that doesn't work I guess someone else will have to take a crack at it.

Sorry about the double post... seems someone moved this one, and I thought I didn't hit the "submit" button so I posted again....

Anyway, even when I create an .eps from Quark and open in Illy, save-as, it won't overright the quark eps icon.

try selecting the file in the browser so that it has the exact name, if that doesn't work I have no clue...not too good at troubleshooting macs
