Is it possible to get paid for a freelance job (under the table) through paypal? I don't want to do anything illegal but I just haven't registered my company name or anything yet and want to do it strictly for extra cash. Can anyone tell me if this is something that is legal to do and if so how to set it up? Thanks!

Wow, you have more ethics than me because at least you asked first. I just got paid through paypal for the 1st time. I didn't even think about reporting it or doing any of that legal crap. Huh.

Actually it's more bc my business partner is on unemployment for the time being since she got laid off from the company we worked for. I did too but fortunately had another 'special projects' job (guess that's a fancy way of saying freelance) to fall back on. I don't want to have something happen to her unemployment if we work on something. Trying to keep it all in my name for the time being. But I do think it's funny you said that. Usually I wouldn't worry about any of this crap. Didn't when it came to my software! ha!

sure you can do that...actually it's more secure and easy as sin. As long as they have email.. it can be done.

I do it all the time! I do a bunch of work for a lady in Alstraula and she pays my personal paypal account. No invoices no taxes!
