Hi,
I've had a bad couple of days with my work, mocking up business cards, and posters. This is because I have to cut them out of the paper (A3 size), and have to use a knife and a metal ruler. Since I'm not good at these things, I was hoping someone could help me out by telling me theres a better way, or a better tool.
Thank You

there are tons of kinds of paper cutters from small table-top models for single sheets of paper to giant models that can cut through stacks of paper. do a search at an office supply company or a general google search and i'm sure you will find something

Even a relatively inexpensive guillotine is way better than a knife and ruler.

there's no better way than with an accurate set of crop marks, a metal ruler and a sharp knife.
I loves the cutting, i do. :D

- sharp scalpel
- metal ruler (no nicks, no backing)
- pin
poke your holes with the pin where you should cut (ie. if you're cutting out a square in the middle of the page, just to the 4 corners and maybe a few guides), lay down your ruler, cut and viola: you have a viola.
can't get simpler or cleaner.

I get the epileptic kid two cubicles down to do my hand-cutting for me.
